On March 25th the Webster Republican Committee unanimously selected Supervisor Ronald Nesbitt and Webster Town Justice Thomas DiSalvo for re-election. The committee also, by a unanimous vote, chose retired Webster Town Highway Superintendent Barry Deane and former Webster Village Trustee Patricia Cataldi as the party’s candidates for Webster Town Board.

Supervisor Nesbitt, who is seeking his third term, said: “I’m very proud to be running with a team of experienced individuals who have the best interests of the Town of Webster and will work hard to improve the quality of life in our community.”

Justice DiSalvo is seeking his third term. First elected in 2001, Judge DiSalvo has presided over 21,655 cases just in the last four years. He has also written numerous judicial decisions and was President of the Monroe County Magistrates Association for two years and currently serves as a trustee. Judge DiSalvo is also a member of the New York State Magistrates Association.

Mrs. Cataldi is no stranger when it comes to local government. As the top vote- getter when elected Webster Village Trustee in 2005, she was also the liaison to the Village Planning and Zoning Boards during her four years in office. Prior to her election as a Village Trustee, Mrs. Cataldi served for six years as a member of the Village of Webster’s Planning Board.

Mr. Deane, who was with the Highway Department for almost four decades, rose through the ranks by starting out as laborer in 1971 to become Highway Superintendent in 1993. Mr. Deane brings with him a wealth of knowledge about town government that includes preparing sound fiscal budgets.

The Webster Republican Committee is proud to announce this slate of candidates to the Webster community. Their talent, dedication and experience will continue to make Webster a place where Life is Worth Living.
