August, 2009: Election time has always brought out the best in
our Committee and 2009 will be no exception. Your help is essential. In addition to having lawn signs, there are many activities
you can help with including: Ø
Attend a committee event and help financially support
our candidates; Ø Volunteer to walk with our candidates as they meet residents; Ø Help with phone banks to make contact with our residents, including get our the vote calls before election day; Ø Help with the blitz in October; Ø
Help with a presence at community events; Ø Talk to your neighbors about our candidates and show your support. With your continued support, we will mark 2009 as yet another year for Republican victory!

4/09:
The Crabapple Gala on April 24th was a huge success for our Committee. It was a fantastic night with speeches from
Maggie Brooks, Mike Nozzolio and Ron Nesbitt. We honored the Webster Special Police with the receipt of the annual Elmer Smith
Community Service Award. To see photographs of the event on the Crabapple Image.

3/09: Village Election.
The 2009 Village Election was hard-fought and successful. The opposition infused an enormous amount of money into the
campaign, perhaps as much as $9000.00! This is an unprecedented testament of the desire of the County Democrats to meddle
in our Village. They most likely out-spent us by at least two to one. Yet, residents saw through the glossy mail and
high profile endorsements. With our simple message, simple mailings, a great deal of on the ground support, dedicated candidates
who were out knocking on doors three or four days each week, our candidates won by the greatest margin since 2005!
This election marked the second Mayorial election where Republicans swept all offices and the fifth successful campaign since
2005. I was proud to chair this Campaign and I am very proud of playing a part in helping elect Jake, Dave and Christine.
They, along with the rest of the Board, will continue to provide the kind of leadership that will make the Village a place
where Life is Worth Living.
2/2009: 2008 Year End Report Village Election.
In addition to Republican endorsement,
Mayor Jake Swingly and Trustee Dave Kildal were endorsed
by the Conservative and Democratic Parties. This was the first time that the Democratic Party had ever endorsed the Republican
ticket. The results of the election were: Swingly 97; Kildal 93. The Committee spent no money on the campaign. The election
was on March 18th. General Election.
Webster favored John McCain for President and strongly
supported Cheryl DiNolfo for County Clerk. Senator Nozollio was overwhelmingly elected. Turnout was 84%. Committee Membership. Active Committee membership stood at 109 members as of December 31st.
Two sessions of Committee training were held in 2008. Petitions. About 50 members passed petitions with over 600 signatures collected.
Committee Finances and Events. The Committee began 2008 with approximately $10,539.06. Year-end data shows just
over $19,000.
The Committee raised about $14,013 for the year 2008. Our third Event Wrap-Up Meeting was convened in November 2007 and many
good recommendations came out of it. Executive Committee
& Nominating Committee. Jan Parisi, Committee
Secretary resigned in mid 2008; Karen DiSalvo was elected in September to complete the term. The other officers remained the

Posted 12/1/2008: The November Election. Webster
Republicans can again be proud of their showing in the November election. On all local races, Republicans have a commanding
presence in Webster. The Federal whirlwind took with it Dale Sweetland and our Assembly result was again disappointing, but
for County Clerk, Supreme Court, and State Senate our candidates trounced their opposition. John McCain won Webster. Our Committee
members contributed in a variety of ways from man-hours of walking and calling to financial support. As we look to 2009, these
very positive local results suggest a very good showing for town and village candidates.
Posted 6/20/08: Of Flags and Ceremonies.
Our Committee is dedicated
to improving the Webster Community and recognizing those individuals that contribute to making it a place where “Life
is Worth Living.” To that end, we give out two scholarships to high school seniors each year. I want to congradualte
Colin Desrosiers and Chelsea Lyons, our 2008 recipients. This year, we also revived our Flag Day award and gave scholarships
to 2 Middle School Students who wrote exceptional essays on what our flag means to them. These essays were later published
in the Webster Herald. Our scholarship program, like our membership in the Chamber of Commerce or our participation at Village
Days, are clear signs that this party is dedicated to Webster. That philosophy lays the groundwork for our candidates
to continue their exceptional work on behalf of the residents of our Town and Village.
Posted February 20, 2008, What we can
do: The Webster Republican Committee is one of strongest Republican Committee in Monroe County. While each
of us can – and must – do more to ensure the success of our party and its candidates, I believe our Committee
is a model for the rest of the County in fundraising, supporting our candidates, political action, and participation. But
we can do even more as Republicans to ensure the success of good government here is Webster. For Republicans in Webster
not members of the Committee, remember that you can do even more working for our candidates, our philosophy and our succeess.
The recent announcement
of the Democrats cross-endorsing Republican candidates confirms the strength of this Committee. All Republicans in the Town should
be proud of this accomplishment.
